What I Do
The rules governing safety-critical systems are complex, evolving, and unforgiving. I help technology companies find their footing — whether you're entering the U.S. market, approaching FAA or DoD compliance for the first time, or working through requirements that didn't exist five years ago. I know what the standards demand because I've built systems that had to meet them.
Too much process kills momentum. Too little accumulates debt. I work with engineering teams to find the right balance — stripping out what isn't protecting you, strengthening what is, and leaving behind artifacts that keep technical debt from quietly compounding. The goal is a team that moves fast because they trust what's behind them.
AI is changing how engineering teams work. The question is how to harness it without compromising the traceability and rigor that safety-critical systems demand. I help organizations integrate emerging AI workflows — including MCP and AI-assisted design tooling — into Model-Based Systems Engineering practices, so the speed of AI and the discipline of systems engineering work together rather than against each other.
Some problems don't need more process. They need a different angle. I've spent my career connecting dots across aerospace, defense, software, and systems engineering — and I've developed novel solutions that didn't exist until the right question got asked. I bring that same creative force to clients as a hands-on partner: thinking alongside your team, surfacing what isn't obvious from inside the problem, and helping you move.
About
I'm a systems thinker who has spent twenty years doing the actual work — designing safety-critical software, leading engineering teams, managing federal research programs, and defining the industry standards that govern emerging technology.
I founded Prometheia Technology because the most innovative companies in aerospace, defense, and UAS don't just need technical expertise. They need someone who has stood at the intersection of invention and constraint, and knows how to move through it.
Prometheus brought fire to the world. The name is intentional.
